... EVIL FROM THE BEGINNING? (okay, so maybe its a glitch :P)

Case in point:
Right outside of Ascalon City Ambassador Zain stands. I accidentally aggro a hulking stone elemental, try killing it. To my surprise, AMBASSADOR ZAIN keeps HEALING the stone elemental! I WAS LIKE WTF!!! And Ambassador Zain, has seemingly endless energy. haha I even tried E-denying Ambassador Zain, but I can't cuz he is an "ally". Probably a bug :P. Thats all I have to say.

Basically any NPC that is found in a location by default, meaning not by a quest of any sort, will be on the side of the Enviroment.

For example, in Sorrow's Furnace, High Priest Alkar, a monk, will tend to heal the Stone Summit if you haven't aquired his quest.

Alkar will definitely heal enemies if he's tagging along with you in Grenth's. I understand what you're saying about him being part of the Environment, but I can't really agree that this is the intended result.

I've never actually seen Zain heal any enemies (but I have seen him fight them), but if it is indeed true...

Since Zain will heal my necro's minions... I wonder if I aggro an elemental, will Zain heal both sides of the battle? I could have fun with this. Go out solo, raise one minion, aggro the elemental near Zain and let the minion fight it - and see how long the battle lasts.

In SF I've also seen some quest giver NPC heal our foes... (while asking of us to kill those foes!)

He's another White Mantle Scum, good old Mantle, i used to think they were good, too bad zain isnt like a mursaat.
